Next week I’ll be conducting a Usability/UX evaluation Workshop at Ulster University (Belfast, Northern Ireland).
The workshop will consist of two parts, a first one in which I will make a brief introduction of three aspects (all very brief):
- the GRIHO research group I come from to provide context,
- the HCI discipline basics, and
- what we understand by Usability & UX Evaluation
Next, I will explain two of the most used techniques: Heuristic Evaluation and User Tests.
The second part will be practical, I will show them how to do the two techniques explained in a practical way with the laboratory we are developing, RUXAILAB.
For the fist part I’ll use this PowerPoint presentation.
THANKS a lot to my colleague Maurice Mulvenna (Professor of Computer Science, Ulster University, and Director of Pneuma Healthcare) for inviting me.
